Best Shoe First

I understand the frustrations that ladies probably go through when shopping for an outfit for a particular occassion or nite out...you find a great top but can't seem to find the right skirt to match, or pant to pair it with...or you have a sensational dress but the search is endless for the right accessory or shoe to pull off the 'look' you are going for...in my experience, i find it easier to browse the shoe dept or shops first (and i am not just saying this because of my shoe obsession!) no matter what the occassion, the shoe dept or shoe shops have a variety of shoes with numerous moods in a relatively small area...you can find the 'look' you want in the shoe almost immediately which will set the mood for the outfit...for example, if a pair of sexy, stacked-heeled, patent slingbacks catch your eye...obviously you are going in for the kill and want to be the showstopper of the evening....you must go for the jaw-dropping, barely there dress or super-skinny, used-baby-oil-and-crisco-to-get-into-jeans! which you may already have in your wardrobe (which would be even better)...certain shoes will also eliminate wardrobe options for you...for example above you wouldn't pair those same slingbacks with a loose (a-line) floral sun dress that comes down to your ankle...i hope not anyway...merci
